7 Ways to Maintain Your Lawn During Fall Season

After spending the summer mowing your lawn, trimming hedges, and watering plants, the last thing you want to do is let your hard work go to waste. Rather than waiting for the warmer weather to manage them, the herbicide will help the weeds absorb the chemicals, making it harder for them to grow back.

4. Rake the Leaves

This may feel like a tedious job; however, it is a crucial task to complete in order to have a beautifully manicured lawn. Whether you rake the leaves or use a mower, make sure to get rid of them as soon as they begin falling. If you wait too long, the leaves will become a giant matted mess from the rain and moisture, making the task that much harder.

5. Fill in the Gaps

During autumn, grass tends to cultivate better because of the cool temperatures. Therefore, planting more grass will allow it to germinate and grow during the winter, filling up the bald areas by the summertime. Additionally, the root system will be even stronger as it can develop at its own pace.

6. Drain Garden Hoses
