4th of July Home Additions

With the 4th of July approaching, BBQ’s and summer nights are on the way this weekend! Of course, this means a few things for you and your guests.

Number one, make sure there’s enough food and water for everyone.

Number two, make sure everyone has a good time!

At home, there are a number of things that can be done to enhance the experience of your guests as they arrive — we’ve got a few ideas for you below to remember.

Extra Chairs

Make sure you have a plethora of chairs available for those who need a place to sit and eat, or chat. The last thing you want is to not have enough space for people to sit when the food comes out, or make someone stand by the firepit while everyone else is sitting.

Trimmed Landscaping

Before inviting the guests over, make sure your grass is cut and any dirt or debris has been moved away from their paths. This is especially important if you’re going to have children running around, or enjoying some fireworks.

Bug Spray

It’s a good idea to have a few citronella candles on hand, whether in tiki or tabletop form. This can repel bugs from coming near you and your guests at night. Alternatively, you can also light up the firepit and they should be deterred by the smoke.

Of course, there are tons of things you can include on your list when it comes to planning the perfect 4th weekend. If your home is in need of some much needed TLC before, however, make sure to get in contact with a landscaping professional who can help the process become much easier for you!
